Investigation and remediation of a soil gas and groundwater contamination with volatile chlorinated hydrocarbons (CHC). Groundwater remediation using pump & treat with three treatment plants (each equipped with stripping unit, activated carbon filter and re-infiltration). For optimization of the remediation, a complex three-dimensional numeric groundwater- and contaminant transport model was created.

Historical investigation and environmental preliminary and detailed site assessments (Phase I and Phase II) at about 80 suspected contaminated sites, including old landfill sites in Hessen.

Investigation and remediation of a groundwater contamination with volatile chlorinated hydrocarbons (CHC) and comprehensive detailed investigations applying Direct Push technology.  The groundwater remediation was implemented with in-situ chemical oxidation (ISCO) combined with a pump&treat system for hydraulic support.

Former Electroplating Plant, Ober-Roden

Investigation and remediation of a soil- and groundwater contamination with volatile chlorinated hydrocarbons (CHC) and heavy metals. Detailed design of the soil remediation (excavation and off-site soil treatment). Groundwater remediation was put into operation using air-sparging and pump & treat (treatment in a stripping unit followed by an absorption unit for the removal of heavy metals).

Environmental site assessment and remediation of soil- and groundwater contamination with petrol hydrocarbons (TPH) and volatile chlorinated hydrocarbons (CHC) at the site of a former metal-processing company. Planning and supervision of the deconstruction of buildings.  Soil remediation by “drilling-and-replacing” (soil replacement in large diameter boreholes) and on-site microbiological treatment. For the ongoing groundwater remediation, a pump & treat system with UV-oxidation and a stripping unit is operated.
